Build a Workflow

Make an editable sequence of prompts and checks for one recurring job.

Opened this guide from a tool? Return to that tab to continue your unfinished work.

A Worked Example

Job: Turn meeting notes into an action list.

Starting material: Invented notes: Ana will send the draft Friday. Lee will confirm the budget Monday.

Useful Result to Aim For

A first step asks for actions, owners and dates from the notes. A later step can format the list, while a check asks whether each named owner and date is supported by the source.

What to check: Read the draft steps before copying. If the notes do not name an owner, the workflow must leave that owner uncertain rather than invent one.

Do It in the Tool

  1. Choose. Open a template, answer questions or reopen a saved draft.
  2. Edit. Change the inputs, steps and checks for your task.
  3. Take it away. Preview the prompt chain or another format before copying or downloading.

Your draft stays in this browser. No AI runs when you edit or export it.

Video walkthroughs planned: Start From Questions; Build a Workflow. Use the written steps above now.

Choose How to Start

Open an existing template, answer a few questions, or reopen a draft. Both starting paths lead to an editable Editor workflow.

How Questions Become a Draft

The job
Sets the job category and the role each prompt gives the AI. Your one-line task is carried into the prompts.
The material
Becomes needed or optional inputs. A long document is handled in parts and the results are brought back together.
The reader
Adds a reader cue to the answering steps and a check that the result can be followed by that reader.
The result
Sets the final output shape. A length adds a word-count rule; named table columns add a rule that none is empty.
What must be right
Becomes checks: a runnable local rule where possible, a question for another look, or a judgment only you can make.
How it is put together
Choose one of six workflow shapes, or let the local rules choose from your answers and explain why.

The draft is a starting point. Open it in Editor and change any step, prompt or check. No AI runs while the questions create it.

Edit Before Exporting

Review the inputs, step order and prompt wording against your own task. The same answers produce the same rule-built draft, but you decide whether it fits.

Know What the Checks Mean

Each step prompt is inspected for seven local text signals, and the draft receives the same template-file checks as other site templates. A signal can miss a good unusual prompt and does not prove an outside AI result will be correct.

Take Away the Result

Preview the prompt chain or another available format, then copy or download the version you inspected. Editing and exporting do not run an AI.

Keep or Recover Your Work

The Editor draft stays in this browser. Reopen a saved draft here, or keep a downloaded editable work file when offered before clearing browser data or changing devices. A result export is for use, not a complete editable backup.
