Find and Use a Prompt

Find the right template step, inspect its inputs and copy the exact prompt you mean to use.

A Worked Example

Job: Find the step that extracts actions from meeting notes.

Starting material: Search for meeting notes and select a template step that names the notes as its source.

Useful Result to Aim For

The selected prompt shows its required material, named slots, earlier-step dependency when one exists, expected result and applicable check before you copy it.

What to check: Fill each slot with your own material. If this is a later step, bring the earlier result rather than treating the prompt as standalone.

Do It in the Tool

  1. Find. Search or choose a job and open one prompt.
  2. Check its inputs. Look for earlier-step output and source material it requires.
  3. Copy. Fill the named slots and use the prompt in your own AI.

A prompt from a later step may need an earlier result. This page does not invent it.

Find a Template Step

Search or choose a job, then inspect one selected result. The prompt text comes from that template step and matches its template page.

Bring the Required Material

Fill the blanks
Replace each complete [PASTE HERE: ...] slot, including its square brackets, with your own material.
Follow earlier steps
Some prompts need an earlier step’s answer. Run that step first, then put its answer in the named slot.
Check before moving on
Some steps have a check. The template page says what it looks for and what to do when it does not pass.

Copy the Exact Prompt

Check the step name, required inputs and expected output, then copy its exact text for your own AI. This page never runs the prompt or sends your words anywhere.

See the Whole Template When Needed

The full template supplies the other steps, checks and downloadable files. A later-step prompt alone may not have enough source or predecessor material to use safely.

Take Away the Result

Copy or download the exact selected prompt and use it in your own AI. The Library does not run the prompt.

Keep or Recover Your Work

You can find the base prompt again by search or its template link. A saved personal version in Lab is separate from the public base and remains editable when Lab is available.
